The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance with an arrest in an Aggravated Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, a stabbing occurred in the Donlands Avenue and Torrens Avenue area
- a woman, 49, was slashed numerous times by a man and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
Brian Hafeez, 40, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
1) Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
2) Aggravated assault
He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Thursday, February 16, 2016, 10 a.m., room 507.
On Friday, February 17, 2017, Derek Sampson, 47, and Joni Scott, 40, both of Toronto, were arrested. They are each charged with:
1) Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
2) Aggravated assault
They were scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Friday, February, 17, 2017, 10 a.m., courtroom 507.
