The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a break-and-enter investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 4:47 a.m., the suspect used an unidentified object to pry open a rear door and gained entry to a store in the Queen Street West and Dufferin Street area

- once inside, the suspect opened the cash register and removed a quantity of cash

- the man then fled the scene

The suspect is described as white, heavy build, black hair with a moustache. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt.

Police believe the suspect may also be responsible for a break-and-enter on Ossington Avenue on January 15, 2013.

Police believe the security camera images released are of the same man.
