Assistance sought identifying man involved in Robbery investigations, Security camera images of man released

Toronto Police Service Hold Up is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man involved in a series of fast-food-restaurant robberies.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, October 7, 2016, at 4:20 p.m., a man entered the Subway restaurant in the University Avenue and Wellington Street West area

- the man approached the employee

- the man was holding a metal pipe with a sharp edge and pointed it at the employee

- he then grabbed the cash drawer and quickly left the store

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 8:32 p.m, a man entered McDonald's in the Yonge Street and College Street area

- the man confronted the employee with his right hand in his pocket

- the man demanded money from the till

- the man verbally indicated he had a gun

- he obtained some money, then left

- no weapon was seen

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 10:18 p.m., a man entered the Pizza Pizza in the Queen Street West and Bathurst Street area

- the man approached the counter with his right hand in his pocket

- the man verbally indicated that he was armed with a gun

- he demanded the employees open the till and then fled the store

- a metal part or end of the gun was seen

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 11:30 p.m., a man entered the Starbucks in the King Street and Yonge Street area

- the man approached the employee at the cash and demanded that he empty the till

- the man indicated he had a firearm and threatened to hurt the employee if he did not comply

- he obtained some cash and fled the store

- no weapon was seen

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at 3:30 p.m., police attended a robbery call at a Pita Land in the Dundas Street East and Jarvis Street area

It is reported that;

- a man entered the premises disguising his identity with a toque and the hood of a hoodie

- the man had his hand inside his jacket indicating he was armed with a weapon

- the man told the victim that he was robbing her and demanded cash

- the man was given a quantity of cash and ran westbound on Dundas Street East

- he was wearing a brown suede coat, a dark, stripped hoodie, black-and-white Puma sneakers

He is described as possibly mid-30s, 200 lbs., clean-shaven
