Police request assistance with Assault investigation, 642 King Street West

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance identifying a man in an Assault investigation.

On Sunday, January 29, 2017, at approximately 11:45 p.m., a woman entered the rear seat of a black four-door vehicle out front of 642 King Street West.

It is reported that:

- the driver of the vehicle assaulted the woman and took her cell phone

The driver is described as 5'11", 30-35, medium build, black short hair, and black moustache. He was last seen wearing a black three-quarter-length coat and tan pinstriped pants. He was driving a full-size, black, four-door vehicle.

Police would like to speak with anyone who may have recorded any part of the incident on a cell phone or other video-recording device.
