Graciano Ferreira, 35, charged in child-luring investigation, Jane Street and Grandravine Drive area

On Thursday, February 2, 2017, as part of an investigation into alleged online child-luring, members of the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Jane Street and Grandravine Drive area.

It is alleged that:

- a man posted an advertisement online looking for high-school boys to engage in sexual activities

- an undercover officer engaged the man in online chats

- the man provided the undercover officer with sexually explicit images, engaged in sexual conversations, and made attempts to meet in person

Graciano Ferreira, 35, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Make available sexually explicit material to a person believed to be under 18 years
2) Luring a child (under 18)
3) Attempt make child pornography

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday February 2, 2017, 2 p.m., courtroom 306.
