The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man involved in an Aggravated Assault at the Toronto Reference Library at 789 Yonge Street.
On Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at 11:39 a.m., police responded to a stabbing call at the Toronto Reference Library
It is reported that:
- a man engaged in a unprovoked verbal argument with a 26-year-old man
- as the argument escalated, the man produced a knife and stabbed the 26-year-old man
- the 26-year-old man received non-life-threatening injuries
The man is described as 5'9"-5'11", thin build, short black hair, with a black goatee/beard. He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, grey jeans, grey running shoes.
This man is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.
