Four boys arrested in Robbery investigation, Yonge Street, near Finch Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of four arrests in a Robbery investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Friday, January 27, 2017, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to a robbery call on Yonge Street

- police arrested a Young Person in relation to this robbery

- three suspects fled the scene

- on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at approximately 10:35 p.m., police responded to two robbery calls on Yonge Street and Finch Avenue

- the robbery suspects fled the scene

- on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at approximately 6:15 p.m., police were in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area and arrested three Young Persons

- on Sunday, January 29, 2017, two search warrants were executed in relation to the arrests

- during the search warrant, another Young Person was arrested

Two boys, 17, of Toronto have been charged with:
1) three counts of Robbery

One boy, 17, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) three counts of Robbery
2) Fail to Comply Recognizance

One boy, 12, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Robbery
2) Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

They were all scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Monday, January 30, 2017, room 306.

The Young Persons cannot be named under the provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
