The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a woman was in the Lake Shore Boulevard West and Mimico Avenue area
- the woman was approached by a man who was riding a bicycle
- the man attempted to engage the woman in conversation and then sexually assaulted her
- the man fled the area on his bicycle
The suspect is described as white, with a tan complexion, 25-35, 6'- 6'2", 180-185 lbs., athletic build, short brown hair and speaks with an accent. He was last seen wearing a polo shirt with coloured stripes, blue shorts and riding a dark bicycle.
