Assistance sought identifying man in shooting investigation, Bathurst Street and Wellington Street West area, Security camera images released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, January 28, 2016, at 3:07 a.m., a man got into a dispute with another man, 26, in the Bathurst Street and Wellington Street West area

- the suspect shot at the victim twice, hitting him once in the lower-leg area

- the suspect then fled the area

The suspect is described as having short dark hair, 25-35, medium build, 5’8”-5’10”, groomed chinstrap beard. He was wearing a black spring jacket, with a white shirt underneath, and dark pants.
