The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Discharge Firearm investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to a sound of gunshots call in the Augusta Avenue and Grange Avenue area
- officers arrived a short time later, and located four shell casings
- the suspect(s) had fled the scene prior to police arrival
- officers viewed security camera video in the area, which showed three males fleeing in a waiting motor vehicle, around the time the sound of gunshots was reported
- the vehicle of interest is described as a mid-size, newer-model SUV, possibly silver or copper. It was last seen heading westbound on Grange Avenue, towards Denison Avenue.
There are no suspect descriptions available at this time
