The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Fraud investigation.
It is alleged that:
- between April 2016 and October 2016, a man, posing as a fire inspector, has attended local businesses in 11 Division
- the man charged a fee to inspect fire equipment and issued fraudulent receipts in the name “TNT Fire” or “TNTFIRE+SAF”
He is not licensed to inspect fire equipment and anyone who had equipment inspected by him should make sure it is functioning properly.
