The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s help locating a man wanted in an Attempt Murder investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at 8 p.m., in the Lawrence Avenue East and Morningside Avenue area, a 22-year-old man arrived at hospital, in a car, with a gunshot wound to the chest and leg
- the victim remains in critical condition.
The suspect has been identified as Jamion Hines, 23, of Toronto.
He is wanted for:
1) Attempted Murder and several other firearms offences
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Discharge Firearm with Intent
4) Point Firearm
5) Possession of Firearm knowing its unauthorized
6) Knowingly Possess unauthorized Firearm
7) Possession of a loaded firearm
8) three counts of Possession of a Firearm contrary to prohibition order
9) Fail to comply with a recognizance
10) Fail to comply with probation
He is described as 5’10", 190 lbs., with a slight beard, and was last seen wearing a dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
He is considered armed and dangerous. Don not approach. If seen, call 9-1-1 immediately.
