On Monday, October 24, 2016, at approximately 12:40 a.m., police received a call for the sounds of gunshots in the Kipling Road/Dixon Road area.
Moments later, police received a call for an SUV that had collided into a home on nearby Windsor Road.
Emergency services attended and took the driver to hospital where he was later pronounced.
The driver has been identified as Mohamed Omer, 23, of Toronto.
