Man sought in shooting investigation, Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying and locating three men wanted in a shooting investigation.

On Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 5:55 a.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East area.

It is reported that:

- a 25-year-old man was talking with some friends at a car

- they were approached by a group of three men

- one of the men produced a handgun and began firing

- the 25-year-old man was struck

- the group fled southbound on Don Mills Road

The 25-year-old man was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries. He is expected to make full recovery.

The suspect is described as black, wearing all-black clothing.

If he is located, do not approach, call 9-1-1 immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous.
