Man sought in sexual assault investigation, Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East Security camera video now released

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying a man wanted for sexual assault. in the Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East area.

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 9:20 p.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Leith Hill Road and Shaughnessy Boulevard area.

It is reported that:

- an 18-year-old woman was walking in the area

- she was followed by a man

- he ran up behind her and sexually assaulted her

- he immediately ran eastbound

He is described as black, dark complexion, 5'6", early 20s, slim build, large lips and clean shaven. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark track pants.

Security camera video of the suspect is now released.
