The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of stolen medication.
It is reported that:
- on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 1:15 a.m., a man was walking in the Danforth Road/Birchmount Road area
- four or five teens approached the man, two on bicycles, the others on foot
- the man was hit in the head from behind, possibly with a weapon
- the man's black leather briefcase with leather a strap was taken during the robbery
- the briefcase contained clear plastic bags with 17 different prescription drugs including: Darunavir Ethanolate 600mg, Amiodararone 200mg, Oxycodone HCL 40mg, Oxybutyn 5mg
The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
One of the suspects is described as 16-18, white, medium build, 510, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, baseball cap, and was riding a small BMX-style bicycle.
The pills/capsules could be harmful/fatal if ingested, especially to children.
