On Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at 4:15 a.m. at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Terminal 3, Canjet Airlines counter, the TPS will partner with The Sunshine Foundation of Canada for its 53rd Dreamlift to Disney World. The Sunshine Foundation of Canada is flying 80 children with severe physical disabilities or life-threatening illnesses to Disney World. This will be the first DreamLift from Toronto since 2000.

Children and teens from many backgrounds who live with conditions that affect their mobility and independence, like Juvenile ALS, spina bifida and cerebral palsy, will have a day that's just about them and what they can achieve in a day, without doctor’s' appointments and treatments.

The kids will be accompanied by 26 members of the Toronto Police Service, medical and other volunteers from across the GTA, including health-care workers from SickKids and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.

For further information, please contact Constable Clint Stibbe at 416-602-4547.
