Two men face drug charges, $1.2 million worth of drugs seized

On Wednesday, May 8, 2013, two men were arrested in Markham by the Organized Crime Enforcement, Drug Squad – Major Project Section.

It is alleged that:

- two men were arrested and a quantity of drugs was seized from the vehicle they were in at the time of their arrest

As a result of this arrest, a search warrant was executed in Markham.

It is further alleged that:

- a quantity of cocaine, marijuana and opium, along with cash, were seized

Seized: Cocaine, 10 Kilograms
Opium: two kilograms
Marjiuana: 500 grams
MDMA: 1.5 grams

Street value: $1.2 million


Chung Mok, 31, of Markham, has been charged with:

1. Trafficking MDMA
2. Possession Proceeds of Crime
3. Possession for the Purpose Trafficking Cocaine
4. Possession for the Purpose Trafficking Opium
5. Possession for the Purpose Trafficking Marijuana
6. Possession Proceeds of Crime

Phu-Diep Luu, 41, of Aurora, has been charged with:

1. Possession MDMA

Both men appeared in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, May 9, 2013.
