On Thursday, June 9, 2016, from approximately 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Ports Toronto and the office of the Toronto Harbour Master will host an annual Marine Security Exercise within the Port of Toronto.
The exercise is a mandated requirement of Ports Toronto, through the International Ship and Ports Security (ISPS) Code and International Maritime Organization (IMO).
The exercise is supported by the working partners within the Port of Toronto: Toronto Police Service, Toronto Fire Services and Toronto Paramedic Services.
The public and waterfront communities should note that, during this time, there will be an increased police, fire and paramedic presence in the harbour, assisting with the training.
