Sexual Assault Alert, Sexual assault on streetcar, Broadview Avenue and Danforth Avenue, Update, new security camera images released

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of some new security camera images now available from a Sexual Assault on a streetcar.

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on May 1, 2016, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a woman was travelling on-board a TTC streetcar from the area of John Street and Queen Street West

- three stops later, a man also boarded the streetcar and sat beside the woman

- he then sexually assaulted her

- the woman exited the streetcar at the Broadview station, where the man continued to follow her on foot

- she lost sight of him in the Danforth Avenue and Broadview Avenue area, shortly before arriving home and calling police

He is described as 30-35, 5’3”-5’4”, 110-120 lbs., with short black hair, and a slim build.

He was wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, blue-and-white running shoes, a black spring jacket, a blue-beaded rosary necklace, and a silver necklace. He appeared to have pimples on the back of his shoulders.

New security camera images are now released.
