The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a suspicious incident in the Osborne Avenue/Lyall Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 8:45 a.m., a male driver stopped and asked a 13-year-old boy if he wanted a ride
- the boy ignored him and kept walking towards his school
- the man continued driving slowly behind the boy as he walked
- the boy fled into a pathway to get away from the man and arrived at his school
- the vehicle fled the area and was last seen eastbound on Lyall Avenue
The man is described as white, 50-60, dark eyebrows, grey hair, bald spot and slight facial-hair growth. He was last seen wearing a dark-green hoodie.
The suspects vehicle is described as an older-model, silver, four-door Toyota, possibly Corolla, rusted wheel wells, heavy-tinted rear windows and light-tinted front windows.
