Toronto Police Service Hold Up is seeking assistance identifying a man involved in two financial institution robberies.
It is reported that:
- on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 6:45 p.m., in the Sheppard Avenue East and Midland Avenue area, a man entered the branch and approached a teller
- the man handed over a note which stated he was robbing the bank and that he had a gun
- the man was given a quantity of cash which he put into his black satchel
- the man then walked out of the branch
It is further reported that:
- on Friday, February 19, 2016, at 6:45 p.m., in the Yonge Street and Yonge Boulevard area, a man entered the branch and approached a teller
- the man handed over a note stating that he was robbing the bank
- the man started to pull a gun out of a satchel
- the man was given a quantity of cash
- the man then walked out of the branch
He is described as white, in his 40s, 5'7" - 5'9", thin build, clean-shaven and wears prescription glasses.
