The Toronto Police Service is requesting the publics assistance identifying a man wanted in a stabbing investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 2:55 p.m., an argument took place between a group of people in the Baldwin Street/Augusta Avenue area
- a fight then broke out and the suspect pulled out a sharp-edged weapon and stabbed the victim in his side
- the suspect then fled the scene
The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as white, possibly Aboriginal. He was last seen wearing dark clothes. He may have been in the company of three other men.
