The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a potential sex offender investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at approximately 8 a.m., an eight-year-old girl was walking to school in the Dundas Street East/Berkley Street area when a man approached her
- the man grabbed her by her arm and attempted to pull her towards him
- the girl pulled away from the man and was able to escape, running into her school where she reported the incident to school staff
- the man was last seen running westbound on Dundas Street East
The man is described as having a dark-black complexion, black, short straight hair, 30s, 6', with a skinny build and brown eyes. He was wearing grey business-style pants, business-style shoes, and a grey waist-length jacket. He had a gold ear ring in his left ear which had a small "m" on it and a scar under his left eye.
