On Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at approximately 4 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the Lake Shore Boulevard West/11th Street area
A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he later died.
The victim has been identified as Tevin James, 22, of Toronto.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2016.
On Friday, January 22, 2016, at 9 a.m., Frederick Leon, 20, of Toronto, was charged with:
1) Second-Degree Murder
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Friday, January 22, 2016, 10 a.m., courtroom 101.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have known the whereabouts of Frederick Leon up until Thursday, January 21, 2016.
