Homicide #4/2016, Morecambe Gate and Chester Le Boulevard area, Update, Security camera footage and images released

On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at 11:32 p.m., police received a call for a shooting in the Morecambe Gate and Chester Le Boulevard area.

Information received following the publication of the first news release now makes it clear that:

- two men were sitting in a parked van

- a male suspect approached the passenger side of the van and shot both the driver and front-seat passenger

- a second male suspect kept watch from a short distance away

- the man in the passenger seat was pronounced at the scene and the man from the driver's seat received non-life-threatening injuries

The security camera video is available on the Toronto Police Service YouTube page and images of the suspect have also been released.
