On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 5:55 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Highway 27, near Vice Regent Boulevard.
It is reported that:
− a 56-year-old man was attempting to ride his bicycle across Highway 27, near Vice Regent Boulevard
− a 57-year-old man was driving a 2006 Mazda 3, southbound on Highway 27, approaching Vice Regent Boulevard
− the cyclist was struck by the Mazda 3, thrown to the ground and struck by a second vehicle
The 56-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
