The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two Break-and-Enter investigations.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, November 2, 2015, at 4 a.m., an unknown man entered a home in the Brimley Road and Steeles Avenue East area.

- the residents of the home were sleeping at the time

- the man went through various areas of the home, in search of money and valuables

- he fled when he realized that one of the residents was awakened by his movements within the home

- on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 4:30 a.m., a similar Break-and-Enter was reported in the same area

Police believe that both Break-and-Enters were done by the same man. Access to both homes was gained during the late hours of the night, through unlocked windows.

The public is reminded to secure all windows and doors during the evening and overnight hours.
