The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a mischief investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Monday, November 2, 2015, at 5 p.m., the parents of a youth were checking a Halloween loot bag and discovered a thumb tack
- the tack was pressed into a chocolate bar
- the incident occurred in the Eastwood Road and Woodbine Avenue area
No injuries were reported.
The Toronto Police Service asks parents to be vigilant and always thoroughly check all candy received from Halloween loot bags.
