On Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 4:40 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Sheppard Avenue East, west of Massie Street.
It is reported that:
− a 69-year-old man was driving a 2006 Dodge Caravan, westbound on Sheppard Avenue East, approaching Massie Street
− a 14-year-old boy was attempting to cross Sheppard Avenue East, west of Massie Street
− the child was struck by the van
The child was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
