Search warrant executed, man arrested, faces 35 charges, King Street and Spadina Avenue area, Guns, dynamite, ammunition and drugs seized

On Saturday, October 24, 2015, members of the Toronto Police Gun and Gang Task Force applied for a CDSA search warrant on a premises in the King Street and Spadina Avenue area.

On Sunday, October 25, 2015, the search warrant was executed. Wing Wayne Woo, 39, of Toronto, was arrested.

It is alleged that the following firearms were seized:

1) A Remington Model 7400
2) A SKS semi-automatic rifle
3) A VZ-58 semi-automatic firearm
4) A Tec 9 semi-automatic firearm
5) A desert eagle .44 calibre handgun with ammunition
6) A Kriss Vector .45 ACP semi-automatic Rifle

It is further alleged that:

- three sticks of dynamite were seized along with a quantity of drugs.

He has been charged with:

1) six counts Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
2) six counts of Possession of a Firearm Knowing Its Possession is Unauthorized
3) Possession of a Prohibited Firearm Knowing Its Possession is Unauthorized
4) eight counts of Careless Storage of a Firearm
5) six counts of Possession of a Firearm Obtained by the Commission of an Offence
6) Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm
7) Possession of a Prohibited Device (Silencer)
8) Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm
9) Possession of a Prohibited Device (Magazine)
10) Careless Storage of a Ammunition
11) Unlawful Possession of Explosives
12) Possession for the Purpose Schedule 1 GHB
13) Possession for the Purpose Marihuana

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Monday, October 26, 2015, 10 a.m., court room 101.
