Public assistance sought with Attempt Murder investigation, College Street and Crawford Street

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Attempt Murder investigation.

On Saturday, August, 8, 2015, at 2:28 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the College Street and Crawford Street area.

It is alleged that:

- the 27-year-old man was walking on Crawford Street just north of College Street

- he was confronted by an unknown man who brandished a gun

- the 27-year-old man was shot multiple times

- the man fled the area and was last seen running towards Shaw Street

He is described as brown, 5'11"– 6', 220 lbs., heavy set, with long black hair tied up into a ponytail. He was wearing a white t-shirt, with dark baggy jeans.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
