The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of recent Break-and-Enters in the Dupont Street and Avenue Road area.
It is reported that:
- between Friday, May 15, 2015, and Sunday, June 21, 2015, unknown suspect(s) gained entry to premises through insecure windows and doors
- in some cases the window screens have been cut to gain entry
- in one instance, the unknown suspect(s) entered the premises while the occupants were asleep.
As a reminder, with the summer and warmer weather upon us, we are encouraging members of the community to secure their windows and doors while away from their home and when sleeping.
