On Monday, March 4, 2013, at 9:18 p.m., police responded to a stabbing call on Nairn Avenue, south of Eglinton Avenue West.
Police located a man suffering from obvious stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery. The victim succumbed to his injuries a number of hours later.
The victim has been identified as Michael Cocomello, 20. He is also known as Michael Mandino.
The motive is not known at this time. Witnesses are continuing to come forward to assist with the investigation.
