14 Division's "Fugitive Friday," Anthony Rego, 20

This is the latest instalment of 14 Division's "Fugitive Friday." We are looking for Anthony Rego, 20, of Toronto.

It is alleged that:

- on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at approximately 5 a.m., three men approached the victim as he was walking in the Bathurst Street and Carr Street area, talking on his cell phone.

- one of the three men pushed the victim to the ground and stole his cell phone

- the three men then fled to a nearby park

It is further alleged that:

- on Thursday, September 19, 2013, another victim was walking in the Tecumseth Avenue and Richmond Street West area

- the victim was attacked from behind by three men

- one of the men put his arm around the neck of the victim, while another punched the victim in the chest numerous times

- the victim was assaulted and his wallet was stolen

- all three man fled down an alleyway

- police attended the area, located and arrested the three men. Anthony Rego was released from 14 Division by way of a Recognizance

On Wednesday, June 3, 2015, an application for surety relief was applied for by Anthony Rego’s surety and it was granted by the courts.

He is wanted on the strength of a Surety Warrant for:

1) two counts of Robbery
2) Fail To Attend Court

He is described as 5'10", 120 lbs., with brown hair, thin build, and brown eyes.

He is to be considered violent. If located, do not approach, but call 9-1-1.
