The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at 9:05 p.m., a 33-year-old woman was walking through Dufferin Grove Park, having just finished a run
- she exited the park on the south side at Sylvan Avenue and crossed to the south west corner of Sylvan Avenue/Gladstone Avenue
- a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her
- she yelled at the man, who then walked quickly eastbound on Sylvan Avenue towards Havelock Street
The man is described as having a dark-black complexion, 20-25, 5'10" - 5'11", with tall, thin build. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black or navy-blue Adidas pants with a white stripe and light-coloured runners. He was clean-shaven and had white earbuds in.
