Man faces nine charges in sexual-assault investigation, Eric Alexander, 48, Police believe there may be more victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual-assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Saturday, May 4, 2013, a woman made contact with a man through an Internet personal ad on Craigslist, and met with him at a downtown hotel

- after a period of time, they attended a hotel room

- during the evening, unknown to the woman, the man place a substance in her drink, which she consumed

- the woman was sexually assaulted by the man

Eric Alexander, 48, of Toronto is charged with:

1. Administer Drugs for Sex
2. Sexual Assault
3. three counts of Possession for Purpose of Traffic (Schedule I)
4. three counts of Possession for Purpose of Traffic (Schedule III)
5. Possession for Purpose of Traffic (Schedule IV)

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Monday, May 6, 2013, room 101, 10 a.m.

Police believe there may be more victims.
