On Friday, May 29, 2015, at 4:18 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at Lakeshore Boulevard East near Leslie Street .
It is reported that:
- a 44-year-old woman was driving a 2000 Porsche Boxster, westbound on Lakeshore Boulevard East near Leslie Street
- a 60-year-old man was operating a 2014 Mack cement truck, westbound on Lakeshore Boulevard East
- the truck struck the Porsche from behind causing the Porsche to lose control, where it subsequently struck a curb, then a light standard
The driver of the Porsche was transported to hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries.
