Traffic safety continues to be a priority for the Toronto Police Service.
Beginning Monday, June 1, 2015, 13 Division will be conducting a neighbourhood traffic initiative.
Officers will begin a focused enforcement campaign targeting issues which have been identified by the community: distracted driving, seatbelt violations, stop-sign violations, drive wrong way and aggressive driving.
The campaign is designed to promote safe-driving habits, pedestrian/cyclist safety and public education. Officers will also be addressing community traffic complaints involving side streets, traffic congestion and other community-identified issues.
