Public assistance sought identifying man with gun, Security camera images of man released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 10:41 p.m., a man was seen at the St. George subway station with a gun tucked into his waistband while on board a subway train

- 39 minutes later, at 11:20 p.m., the same man was seen at St. George subway station's Bedford Street exit, again with a gun tucked into his waistband

- 40 minutes later, on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 12:20 a.m. the same man was seen on the subway at St. George subway station, this time loading a magazine into the handgun

- 20 minutes later, at 12:40 a.m., the same man was seen in the Christie Street/Bloor Street West area with the gun concealed in his front hoodie pocket

- 40 minutes later, at 1:20 a.m., the same man was seen in the Christie Street/Barton Avenue area

The man is described as white, 18-21, 6', 160 lbs., with short, dark-brown hair and slight facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a black Blue Jays baseball cap, grey Adidas hoodie, grey skinny jeans (possibly acid-wash), and purple or blue high-tops with white laces.

The gun is described as having a black handle with a silver body. At one point, it was described as having a laser sight attached to it.

The man should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.
