The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with a hate/bias assault investigation.
On Monday, April 22, 2013, a woman was assaulted in the Don Mills Road/Sheppard Avenue East area.
It is reported that:
- the woman, wearing a hijab, was walking into a retail plaza
- a man walking towards her made an utterance and assaulted her
The man is described as white, 5'8", with a thin build, thin face, and straight, blonde hair. He was wearing light clothing, blue jeans and white runners.
