The Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a robbery investigation.
It is alleged that:
- On Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 10:20 a.m., a man walked into the CIBC bank at Finch Avenue West/Weston Road, approached the bank teller and handed over a note
- the note indicated that this was a hold-up and that he was armed with a gun
- the man was given a quantity of money and he took back his hold-up note
- he was seen fleeing west along Finch Avenue West
Security camera images of the man have been released.
The man is described as white with a tanned complexion, 30-40, 56". He was wearing black trackpants with white stripes down the side, a black t-shirt with a grey hoodie and a black/red baseball cap.
