On Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., in the auditorium at police headquarters, the Toronto Police Service’s Pan American/Parapan American Games Planning Team and Ryerson University will be hosting a Coffee with Cops event for all undergraduate students in Ryerson’s criminal justice program.
A total of 250 students and officers will be in attendance, providing an opportunity for students to speak one-on-one with officers from various units, Divisions, and ranks. This will also be an opportunity for the students to have a brief presentation on the 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games and its impact on Toronto and the Service.
Chief William Blair and Deputy Chiefs Mark Saunders, Mike Federico, and Peter Sloly will also be in attendance to meet with the students and share their experiences.
Sara K. Thompson, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Criminology at Ryerson University and Constable Jenifferjit Sidhu, Media Relations Officer, Corporate Communications, will also be available.
