Man arrested in underground Theft from Auto investigation, Over 60 vehicles broken into, Brandon Ancion, 23, faces 60 charges, Police believe there may be more victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance with the arrest of a man in a Theft From Auto investigation.

Between Friday, February 13, 2015, and Wednesday, March 11, 2015, a large increase in Thefts from Autos was reported.

See previous release.

In the early-morning hours of Monday, March 16, 2015, Brandon Ancion, 23, of no fixed address, surrendered to police. He is charged with:

1) 17 counts of Theft from Motor Vehicle Under
2) 42 counts of Mischief/Damage to Motor Vehicle Under
3) Fail to Comply

The investigation is ongoing. Police believe there may be more victims.

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Monday, March 16, 2015.
