The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of the arrest of an American fugitive.
It is alleged that:
- the Buffalo Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service requested the assistance of the Toronto Police Fugitive Squad to locate and arrest a man wanted for contempt charges in New York
- the man was also wanted for questioning in regards to the homicide of a Tonawanda man in January 2015
- the man had been deported from Canada in 2011
On Monday, February 23, 2015, after a two-week search, Mark Prince , 45, was arrested in the Dufferin Street/Wilson Street area.
He is being held in custody pending his removal to the United States.
