The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public and media for their assistance locating a man wanted in a series of Thefts of Gas and Flight From Police throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

On Monday, February 23, 2015, Vishal Sookwah, 23, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with the following:
1) 19 counts of Theft Under
2) Theft of Motor Vehicle
3) Theft from Motor Vehicle
4) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
5) two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation
6) 22 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
7) three counts of Fail to Stop for Police
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 10 a.m., room 412.
