The investigation has determined that the victim, shortly before or at the time of his murder, was in a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder with very distinctive rims and tires.
It is believed that, after Edwin Villon was shot, the suspect drove off in the 1998 Nissan Pathfinder.
On Tuesday, September 18, 2012, 42 Division officers responded to an arson call in the northeast area of the city. The vehicle which was set ablaze was the 1998 Nissan Pathfinder connected to Edwin Villons murder.
Police have received information that a person or persons saw the Pathfinder in the area of Toronto Pearson International Airport in the early afternoon of September 17, 2012.
