On Friday, February 13, 2015, at 3:16 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Royal York Road and Manitoba Street.
It is reported that:
- a 47-year-old man was driving a TTC bus, northbound on Royal York Road (76A Royal York South), and stopped to service the TTC stop at Manitoba Street
- a 75-year-old woman boarded the 76A Royal York South bus at Royal York Road and Manitoba Street
− the woman suffered an injury while on the bus
The woman was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced.
Approximately 20-25 passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident. They are asked to contact investigators.
