The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost methadone.
On Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at approximately 11 a.m., at the TTC subway at Summerhill Station on the Yonge Line six, 120 mg bottles of methadone were lost.
Methadone is a liquid that is usually mixed with an orange-flavoured drink, similar to TANG. This substance could be harmful if ingested. Methadone can cause profound sleepiness, coma, decreased breathing and/or death. Its effects are long-lasting (24 hrs. or more).
