On Friday, February 15, 2013, the TPS Fugitive Squad arrested Givan Iusein on the strength of an extradition warrant.
He was wanted by Romanian authorities. He had been convicted of a 1992 stabbing homicide in Romania. He was sentenced to 18 years but fled Romania before completing his sentence.
He was out on bail in Toronto, pending his extradition to Romania.
He has allegedly breached the conditions of his bail and has now gone into hiding.
The Toronto Fugitive Squad is trying to locate and return him to custody.
